Following a degree in Interior Architecture, Pia honed her craft as both designer and project manager at leading London studios, working on a diverse range of projects before founding Pia Design. Since then, the Buckinghamshire based studio has brought its thoughtful, nature-inspired approach to homes across the UK and beyond.
Born from a passion for design and a deep respect for the natural world, Pia Design exists to help clients reimagine, refurbish, and create homes that are as individual as they are — always with a mindful, sustainable approach.
Every project begins with the building’s character, the personality of those who live there, and the rhythms of their daily life. From there, we craft spaces that feel timeless, beautiful, and unmistakably personal.
We don’t follow trends or impose a ‘house style’.
Because in the end, it’s never about us — it’s about you.

Creative Director
Inspired by nature, Pia leads the creative direction of the studio’s projects, with particular strength in shaping concept designs and guiding interiors from initial idea through to completion. Her approach prioritises thoughtful design, natural materials, and reusing wherever possible rather than replacing.

Francesca Whittingham Hun
Interior Designer
Having previously run her own interior design studio, Fran brings a wealth of client-facing experience and a confident, considered approach to project delivery. Alongside her design expertise, she is also a social media specialist, helping us share our work and green-soul ethos with a wider audience.

Meg Scott-Jenner
Interior Designer
With a background in textile design and experience in design and project coordination, Meg brings both creativity and practicality to the team. Highly organised and adept at managing multiple projects at once, she remains exceptionally calm under pressure, helping us stay on track even within tight schedules.

Pepsi & Peanut
Studio Assistants
Pepsi has an exceptional nose for detail - particularly when it comes to inspecting building sites for potential snacks. Peanut brings boundless enthusiasm and a strong commitment to staff wellbeing, keeping the team on schedule for walkies and carrying out rigorous quality control on cushions and sofas as approved nap spots.
Affiliations
Pia is a fully qualified member of the British Institute of Interior Design (Registered Interior Designer®). As the only professional organisation for interior designers in the UK to be awarded Institute status, qualifying members must demonstrate their expertise and meet their standards of professionalism. Pia is an active member of the BIID Sustainability / Professional Practice Committee.

We begin every project by interpreting our clients’ style preferences and shaping them into something entirely their own. While each design naturally takes its own unique path, a subtle thread connects them all — a love of natural materials and a respect for what our clients already treasure. Wherever possible, we weave these existing pieces into our schemes, allowing their stories to continue rather than replacing them.
Nature sits at the heart of our work. We believe the truest form of sustainability lies in creating carefully considered schemes using quality, enduring materials. Natural finishes have a timeless beauty that transcends fleeting trends — many even becoming richer and more characterful with age.
